Astro Movements: Jupiter moves into Cancer on June 9th — Full Moon in Sagittarius (22 degrees) on June 11th
What if we all felt safe? What if we were all safe? To be our true selves, to love, to let our capital S Self free.
Freedom and safety.
Safe to be free.
Free to be safe.
What if, over the next year, while Jupiter is in Cancer, we each woke up to our connection, to how we all deep down crave the same things – safety, security, care – and if safety isn’t at the top of your list, it’s likely because you already feel safe. Then you can move on to the other things you desire, but that one, the foundation, is key to unlock the next level.
May you feel safe.
May you be safe.
May you feel free.
May you be free.
Full Moons can bring things to a head, can bring things up and out, can heighten, can elevate, can activate. Sagittarius pulls no punches. Sagittarius values truth. Values authenticity. Values freedom.
What is your truth?
I feel a bone-deep grief and a sacred rage that there are people being ripped from their homes – their existence here deemed illegal. No human is illegal. There are people being starved, being wiped out, and we are all witnesses to the horror. We can put our phones down and heads down under the sand, but the earth knows, whether we are aware or not, the pulse of the suffering is spreading through the soil, through the roots, through the rock. There is love in rage, there is love in grief, there is love in standing up and fighting back.
I don’t have the answers to fix all the problems, and there are many.
But.
I feel, I feel, I feel.
I love.
I share.
I find beauty amidst the darkness.
I look at the darkness.
I do my part. I hope. What is my part? I love.
What is our part?
How can we show up, how can we create ripple effects of love that can reverberate out to heal our neighbor, to protect those we’ve never met, to remember, to wake up, to help others to remember, to wake up?
Earth Mother says what you do to me, you do to your own body.
What you do to others, you do to your own body.
What you do affects you.
And if self-preservation is on your list of priorities, and you’re still taking, extracting, othering, harming, forgetting, then you’re getting it all wrong.
May you remember who you are.
May you remember who you are.
May you remember who you are.
