Wisdom from this Full Moon in Capricorn

What is the Full Moon in Capricorn reminding you? Illuminating for you? It’s unique for each of us, but there’s an opportunity here to reflect on your year thus far, on the systems and structures you have in place in your life to achieve what you want to achieve, to create what you want to create, to have the impact you want to have.

Are the structures of your life supporting your true aims?

Do your goals still align with who you are, what you value, and the legacy you want to leave behind?

How do you want to impact the world?

We don’t exist in a vacuum. What we do, what we say, how we think, the energy we bring to every situation matters. It has impact, whether we intend it to or not.

Are you being intentional with your impact?

My dear mother-in-law always says, you’ve got your dollar and your vote. I like to take it one step further, you’ve got your dollar, your vote, and your vibration. The energy you bring, the energy you share, the energy within you. 

We can do all the “right” things, we can take all the “right” steps, but energy doesn’t lie, frequency doesn’t lie. What place are your actions coming from? Are they coming from fear, from doubt, from lack, from urgency, from guilt?

Are your actions rooted in your self, in your soul, in your connection to the Divine all that is? Are you guided by your intuition, by your inner knowing, by your sacred yes and your sacred fuck no? Or are you moving from outside factors? From shoulds?

I’m not saying to completely abandon common sense – Capricorn is a practical sign, ruled by Saturn, the taskmaster planet of the sky, who’s currently hanging out near Neptune, the mystic who helps us feel into our dream vision for the world. There’s an opportunity here to be practical and determined while still dreaming big, feeling into what is possible.

In many ways, Capricorn is the ultimate manifestor because Capricorn creates pathways that we can follow to manifest our goals in our physical reality. Capricorn reminds us to put effort in, to put our attention towards our intention, and to systematically achieve our goals. Goals that are worthy – to us.

Collectively, especially if you are in the US, we are watching our society’s structures be systematically dismantled and sold for parts. Pluto, after its long transit through Capricorn, showed us the rot underneath. How the structures were a band-aid on a gunshot wound, and so now what? The structures have failed the most vulnerable among us, and now, now, now, we are seeing how they are and have been actually failing all of us.

Capricorn has shifted. Capricorn is no longer the old guard. Pluto fundamentally changed Capricorn, and now it’s in its 20ish-year transit through Aquarius, so — how can we create systems and structures that serve all of us? Serve the highest good of each of us and the highest good of all? Create pathways and opportunities for each of us to have all that we need and all that we desire?

There’s plenty. There’s an abundance. All the shortages are manufactured, and the only limits are how great a life, how great a world you can imagine, and how much commitment you’ll bring to creating it.
